This is not a City of Calgary Certificate of Compliance. Open City data, explained. Details
Method and sources
This is not a City of Calgary Certificate of Compliance.
Sources
- City of Calgary Open Data: Building Permits, Development Permits, Building Inspections Results, Land Use Districts.
- Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – City of Calgary.
What we count
487,362 building permits at 311,417 addresses. Cancelled and refused permits are dropped. Open means issued and not finished; expired is the City's status. An open deficiency is a line marked not acceptable, not marked resolved, on an unfinished permit.
Limits
The certificate confirms where structures sit on a surveyor's plan. We have no plans, so we cannot tell you that. A blank proves nothing.
Privacy
We publish no owner, builder or street number. An address you type is turned into a one-way code in your browser. Community and district pages need at least 11 addresses.
Artificial intelligence
AI helped draft explanations. It adds no facts about a property.
